Commercial shoot for cosmetics brand "Uvinion"

SHOOTING PURPOSE / MISSION

Within the framework of cooperation with cosmetics and wellness-brand Uvinion a monthly image shoot for the content strategy of social networks was carried out. The main task of the project was to create visual material that helps to solve the commercial goals of the company: to increase sales and build trust among the clients of B2B and B2C segments.
Canon 6D, Canon 50 mm f/1.2 and Canon 17−40mm f/4 lenses. The use of different focal lengths gave the opportunity to combine close-up portraits and wider shots for the product presentation.

EQUIPMENT

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

The location — Lumos studio — was chosen due to the soft natural light, which allowed to preserve the natural texture of the skin and cosmetics.
Preparation for the shoot included careful selection of the model. We focused on natural beauty and Slavic facial features to emphasize the authenticity of the brand, whose products are made in Altai and positioned as natural and local.
This shoot was an important stage in the development of my professional approach to commercial projects. I learned how to build the process of working with a brand from model selection to final content approval, paying attention not only to the visual part, but also to the client’s marketing objectives.

RESULT

The shoot lasted 2 hours, during which time over 300 shots were taken, of which 150+ were selected and handed over to the marketing department.
Final processing included retouching, color correction and cropping. The material was approved by the client and formed the basis for advertising campaigns and regular promotion in digital channels.
